The agency’s philosophy denotes that home health care services represent a cost-effective and humane alternative to premature or inappropriate institutionalization for a significant sector of the population in need of medical, nursing and support services.
The client’s overall well-being is the central focus of any intervention. Therefore, the client and significant others should, where possible, be integrally involved in the direction and administration of care. The goal of service is to achieve the highest level of well–being possible for the total human being.
The philosophy of Elder’s Choice, Inc. stipulates that each home care client desires home health care services that promote the value of life by minimizing negative illness and disability outcome, maximizing potential level-of-independence outcome, restoring maintaining and promoting health.
All home care team members are screened through reference checks as well as state regulated abuse background checks. They are experienced, licensed and/or certified according to state regulations.
